OnePlus has officially announced that the OnePlus 15R smartphone and the OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet will be introduced in India on 17 December. Both devices will arrive in new colour options and will run OxygenOS 16 out of the box.
OnePlus 15R: Official Details :
The OnePlus 15R will be available in Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze colour options.
The device also carries the same durability ratings as the OnePlus 15 series — IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K — suggesting strong protection against dust, submersion in water, and even high-pressure hot or cold water jets for up to 30 minutes.
OnePlus Pad Go 2: Confirmed Features :
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 is set to launch in Shadow Black and Lavender Drift.
OnePlus has also confirmed 5G connectivity, making it easier for users to stay online without relying on Wi-Fi.
A new accessory, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo, will also be offered for note-taking, sketching, and productivity. OnePlus is positioning the tablet as a suitable option for students and professionals alike.
The teaser image shows a single rear camera design, similar to the previous generation.
OnePlus 15R: Expected Specifications :
Earlier rumours suggested the 15R would simply be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6, which launched in China recently. However, newer leaks indicate that the Indian variant will include some upgrades.
-
The OnePlus 15R is likely to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, Qualcomm’s next-gen processor.
-
The Ace 6 in China uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which was last year’s high-end chip.
-
While the Ace 6 sports a 50MP + 8MP camera setup, the 15R is tipped to get a dual 50MP camera system on the back.
Other specifications may remain similar to the Ace 6, including:
-
6.83-inch LTPS AMOLED display
-
1.5K resolution
-
165Hz refresh rate
-
7,800mAh battery
-
120W fast charging support
